The condominium of four houses in Abuxarda, Portugal, is a contemporary residential development designed to take advantage of the site's topography, natural light, and surrounding landscape.
The four units are arranged in a staggered layout, allowing each house to enjoy privacy, open views, and independent outdoor areas while maintaining a coherent architectural identity across the whole ensemble.
The architecture is defined by clean horizontal volumes, large glazed surfaces, generous terraces, and a strong connection between indoor and outdoor living.
Light mineral finishes and exposed concrete elements contrast with darker façade details, overhangs, and shading structures, creating a refined and elegant visual balance.
Glass guardrails and wide openings reinforce transparency and allow natural light to flow deeply into the interiors.
Outdoor spaces play a central role in the project. Gardens, hedges, trees, terraces, and swimming pools create a private and comfortable residential environment.
The vegetation softens the built volumes and helps integrate the condominium into its natural surroundings.
The pools, particularly those with green-toned finishes, add a calm and reflective quality, strengthening the relationship between architecture, water, and landscape.
