English description provided by the architects.
Yoga Bonito was born from the intention of creating a yoga temple, but beyond the practice itself, of creating a conscious movement.
Rooted in a gentle stance of non-friction and balance, it was built using local guadua bamboo, elevated from the ground, and subtly integrated into the site.
The project seeks to offer simpler, more flexible solutions for inhabiting a space in direct connection with nature—a sincere experience through a philosophy of life based on gratitude, love, respect, and the expansion of consciousness, whether through different practices of the yoga lineage or events designed to foster an inward journey.
Its structures are lightweight, allowing them to be dismantled and moved in the future if desired. It features dry toilets and promotes practices aimed at fostering a better relationship with the earth.
In its quest to share the benefits of meditation, physical movement, and the celebration of life, this small temple now shares a beautiful practice of living.
