English description provided by the architects.
The project stems from a desire for a country home where the family can gather and entertain friends on weekends, fostering togetherness, leisure, and enjoyment of the scenery.
The site where the home was built is situated on a gentle slope, with much of its perimeter defined by the curve of the access road facing east.
In this context, the project created a curved platform that gently emerges from the terrain via a stone wall which, while ensuring privacy from those passing on the front street, supports the structures of the pool, solarium, and outdoor fireplace, all oriented toward the best view of the landscape.
On this foundation, an L-shaped building was constructed so that all bedrooms, living areas, and the lounge are fully integrated with the leisure platform.
Structurally, the building was constructed using metal columns and beams, with walls of cellular concrete blocks, clad externally with wooden paneling.
This construction system, in addition to providing excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, drastically reduced waste generation during construction and, due to its structural lightness, allowed the living room to be built entirely as a cantilever that projects 5 meters beyond the front stone wall.
This cantilevered section was utilized as a covered carport, accessed via a separate staircase. The main entrance, meanwhile, is located on the side of the house and is marked by a metal canopy.
Through sustainable technical and construction solutions and the rational use of the site and its surroundings, the architecture reveals itself with expressiveness and innovation, providing a unique experience for users and blending seamlessly with the site’s topography.
