Located in the interior of São Paulo, this summer house was designed to accommodate a large family, providing individuality as needed, but generously opening up to integrated living areas, offering, above all, a large outdoor area.

The house’s ‘’U’’ shape promotes a continuous dialogue between the building and the central pool, which acts as a square, the heart of the house.

With a mix of contemporary and rustic looks, Stone's House begins with the design of four robust soft stone walls, which structure and organize the spaces of the residence and which not only delimit, but also create a harmonious connection between the internal and external spaces.

On the right arm, intended for socializing, there is a living room, dining room and a covered porch that connects directly to the pool.

In conjunction with a metal structure that supports the large overhang of the roof, allowing the creation of large free spans, the frames also increase the feeling of openness, as they are completely retracted, embedded in the walls.

The travertine floor also helps with visual continuity, as it is present throughout the social area.

An interesting promenade with loopholes overlooking the pool makes a distinction between social and intimate and shapes the base of this ‘’U’’ plan.

Providing access to the left wing of the house, this sector includes all the intimate space of the house, with a program that includes four bedrooms, a master suite, games area, office and home theater.

With the exception of two rooms facing the pool, the other four face the private external gardens.

Finally and symbolically, with a program divided into three main areas - social, intimate and service - the house is crowned by three sections of ceramic tiles, an obligatory feature of the condominium but which, here, was absorbed with enthusiasm, as, in addition to making reference to farmhouses, it also brought aesthetic and structural lightness.
