English description provided by the architects.

Initial Project Issues and Challenges include: Determining the Design Site Boundary, Limitations on Dedicated Terminal Space, Taxi Lines (8 Lines), Urgent Need for Roofing, Disorganization in Terminal Management, Lack of Visual Appeal and Boredom in the Urban Landscape and Scenery, and of course, Obstruction of the View of the Alborz Mountains (the Main Element of the Natural Landscape of this range).

After examining the needs, views, urban context, climatic conditions, and global experiences in the taxi terminal user category in different countries and Tehran, the design concept was directed towards a specific form that meets the current and future functional needs.

In expressing the design idea, the overall form was designed linearly so that the taxi lines have a certain amount of dedicated space. The arched lines on the roof were used to recall the specific surfaces and forms of the Alborz mountains and hills, and were designed in three height levels of 4, 4.5, and 5 meters with a sequential and interconnected rhythm (the specific form of the roof also inspires a sense of movement and dynamism, which is completely consistent with the project's user category). The roof lines created the form of the columns, and the integrity of the overall design was revealed.x

The structure in this design, as an integral part of the form and the entrance and exit openings under the roof, evokes the Eivan element, one of the important elements of Iranian architecture.

In the composition of the columns (facade design), it was of great importance not to distort the urban landscape of the commercial facade located in the south of the design.

Cubic stone materials were used in the floor of the terminal to reduce the speed of vehicles and ensure the safety of passengers. Woodplast was used in the covering of the under-roof facade, and metal sheets were used for the column and roof edges to make the appearance of the project look up-to-date and modern due to its context.
