The monolith, born from the limestone quarry and detached from its slope after mining ceased, slowly opened up over time. With a gap carved out, hikers rush in.
Inside, the raw, mineral space evokes the rock's origins. A true imprint of the quarry, where shadows and edges sculpt a timeless refuge.
Then, in this silent darkness, a crack lets in thin rays of light, framing a fragment of landscape that becomes a frozen moment, outside the outside world.
Outside, the stone has blended into its new environment, covered with a skin of wood that interacts with the living landscape.
The monolith is no longer a relic, but a living presence, a balance between the history of the place and its future.
