Among the dense layers of the Atlantic Forest, in the heart of Aldeia, a bridge reveals itself.
Unlike the projects where NEBR Architecture usually opens up to the horizon, here the crossing does not seek the infinite, but the intimate.
It projects inward into the forest, penetrating the green as if searching for refuge, a reunion with oneself.
The architectural gesture arises from an ancestral premise: the human being in its primary relationship with nature.
In the dawn of time, shelter, path, and light were extensions of the body; now, reinterpreted, they become a space for contemplation.
The trails of Aldeia not only connect banks but also restore bonds between man and the mysterious silence of the forest.
Its structure is light, yet loaded with meaning. The wood design supports a pergola that unfolds in a weave, transforming into a meeting point.
There, the space opens for socializing, but also for introspection — as if each step could reveal both the presence of the other and the presence of oneself.
The lighting, calculated with technical precision, goes beyond function: it reveals and conceals, attracts and preserves.
Like fireflies suspended in the air, the lights mark the path and keep the mystery of the forest alive. A clearing of light, yes, but never a rupture of shadow.
Thus, this bridge is not merely a passage. It is metaphor and place. It is structure and poetry.
An architectural gesture that, instead of dominating, bends and merges with what the forest has always been: refuge, mystery, and essence.
