This is a land art project in Toga, Toyama, Japan. The site is It was a place surrounded by trees with a gaping hole in the middle.
The idea was to create a space that stands strong and connects to the earth, and a small space in the center that cuts out the sky.
The geometric shape of a three-dimensional "triskele" was created as a symbol of a strong, rising center, and the outer skin was designed to blend in with the ground, with a motif of the "pit dwellings" of Japan's Jomon period.
It is a place where you can listen to the sounds of nature, look up at the sky, and pray quietly in the midst of nature.
