It is situated in an area with significant tourism potential and is surrounded by lush orchards filled with local fruit trees.

The homeowner requested a renovation of the living space while retaining the 30-year-old house because of the family's sentimental attachment to it.

The designers aimed to create a modern house that blended harmoniously with traditional elements and materials from the local area, ensuring that the spirit of the place was maintained while meeting the specific needs of the homeowner.

The original house had many limitations, including deteriorating walls, inefficient ventilation, a narrow pathway, a lack of natural light, and no indoor landscaping.

To create a peaceful home, the designers incorporated traditional elements with modern architecture, utilizing local materials that were familiar to the area.

A tiled roof was chosen for its ability to regulate temperature and water drainage, as well as its robustness, which ensures that it can withstand the climate of Vietnam.

The use of handcrafted red clay bricks accentuated the exterior walls and bathroom walls, bringing traditional architectural values to the design while highlighting the exceptional load-bearing capabilities and longevity of the bricks.

The house has a fully open space that greets visitors with natural light, promoting intimacy, warmth, and family connections.

Strategically placed glass doors and windows blur the boundary between the inside and outside, creating a harmonious integration of indoor and outdoor spaces.

Skylights and open-plan designs allow natural light and air to circulate freely throughout the house, reducing energy consumption and allowing indoor plants to grow naturally.

The upper floor is dedicated to the homeowner's relaxation and is subtly accentuated with handmade red clay bricks, creating a soothing ambience through its soft color palette.

It is a perfect space for exercise and relaxation after a long day of work and provides an ideal spot to read a book while enjoying the natural beauty of the surrounding area, which is known for its lush greenery and sweet fruits.
