The site is located in the heart of the city. The roof has an angle to face the park and there will be an outdoor seats on it.
An external continuous path will connect from below the grade to the roof.
The main church service space is at the below grade level with natural light from floated mass. 3 dimensional overlay will make richness of space.
This church, located in Paju Unjeong District, wanted to become the center of community in the future in the context that is not yet formed.
The design approach conceptualized Blue Stone, which is the name of the original church, as the image that the church should have, by pursuing a circular shape that Bondi originates from the earth rather than anticipating and responding to uncertain surroundings.
The "Floating Stone" will be a local spot, a rock, and consists of rock form, piloty, and outer annular line connecting the underground chapel and the roof deck to serve as an open house.
