The intervention of the construction of the farmer's house, together with the enlargement, are placed in a valuable environmental and landscape context, aiming not to affect the quality of the places, they are measured in relation to the context.
Both the architectural language and the use of materials seek an image of modernity and elegance in harmony with the natural context.
Both interventions develop abstract, essential and small-sized volumes, using exposed concrete (in relation to the rock wall on site), natural larch wood for the facades and the green roof for the roof.
The aim is to minimize the impact of the new volumes, not by attempting a mimesis.
The flares lighten the building by thinning the edges and giving, from the inside, a greater sense of openness towards the landscape.
