Located on a 10th floor rooftop over a corporate building in Santa Fe, México City, the roof garden responds to our client's urgency to transform an already built terrace with very poor vegetation and use into the place to experience a more quiet and peaceful moment whilst also placing a very important sculpture by american artist; Rashid Johnson, once placed over the very popular public linear park "The Highline" in Manhattan.

One of the main challenges was to transform the hardscape into landscape, without making it look like everything was inside containers.

The main idea was to geometrically generate different amounts of soil depths with linear borders made out of 1/2" Steel plate that is originated from the size and type of the sculpture.

While there is a higher soil Depth the closer the vegetation is to the Edge of the building, it also creates "layers" of vegetation that gives the user more privacy wihout placing any walls.
