The airport in the Russian city Gelendzhik was inspired by the identity of the local nature.
It is a complex of pavilions resembling sea pebbles. The facades are made of glass, which unites the airport complex with the surrounding landscape and creates a natural park spirit.
The artificially created lake and the pine trees planted between the pavilions enhance the region's resort character.
