PARADISE ”GOKURAKU” IN THE SKY

It is a temple built in the center of Tokyo. That in the site limited, to design a building of three different types were required.

Usually, the building three different types in temple, is planed separately, but since the site is limited, selected a method of stacking.

Around the building a stack, we are planning a corridor outside common in temple.

Along this corridor, for a view of the approach, for a buffer between the main street, for to provide an oasis in the city center, We were planning to plant bamboo in the sky.

In the bamboo forest, glassed bamboo made of Swarovski 108 pieces are mixed.( Perhaps, this is the world's first case using Swarovski in Exterior).

This is a rosary in Buddhism, also a representation the world of the “gokuraku” that shines with the seven colors.

If you look at the bamboo forest from inside, it should be forgotten that you are in the center of Tokyo.
