In order to have the desired privacy in this location, the building is designed as a courtyard house.

The house communicates with its surroundings via the south facade. This is where the heart of the building is located: a protected, versatile inner courtyard.

The house is organized around it. It can optionally be opened or closed using wooden sliding elements.

This gives the residents the opportunity to bring nature into the house on sunny days and, if necessary, to quickly protect themselves from unwanted glances. The courtyard becomes a green outdoor living space.

The ground floor consists of an open living area where you can cook, eat and live at the same time. The bedrooms are on the upper floor.

The building is made of a highly thermally insulated timber construction. The facade is made of fir.
