This hotel and spa situates itself within the surrounding topography that the design itself creates.
This interaction with the landscape produces a range of semi-interior spaces.
The several courts created help organize the building’s different functions; leisure and business.
The individual spaces are held together by the internal structure that is formed across an overlapping space that is continuous and fluid.
The building in reality is read as three isolated buildings, which contain the rooms, arranged on a horizontal plane landscaped and connected by a horizontal element that shelters the services.
The green roof further incorporates the building into the landscape while still letting its strong contemporary design stand in contrast to its surroundings.
