Text description provided by architect.

The project responds to the main program with two volumes that it’s longitudinal inhabit the 3 instances of the place (pound / slope of the hill / channel). Thus each of these volumes overlooks with double height toward the school and accessible from the outdoor square in the level of the pond.

It is in the intermediate space, between volumes and outdoor square is generated the roofed square, incorporating this multi-purpose rooms, externalized, giving greater versatility to the program and surface.

Both volumes are unified in its lowest level of how programs connect through an exterior covered corridor which defines service access for the cellars, having connection to the upper level through a broad staircase stands disused railway sleepers.

To this is added a wooden platform that runs the program, through its parallel to the channel access (sound of water) in the barbecue topping (forest of elms) and gabions of stone from the woods across the project containing the hill and rain water to generate the stands for the mass meeting in the main outdoor square.

Seeking harmony with the place defined noble materials, like wood and concrete, and treated with neutral dyes to highlight the colors of nature.

The contrast between the black wood exterior and the interior white wood cuts highlight the facades, as an analogy of the forest in search of light, defined by vertical contrasts of light and shadow.

The watchtower is located at the perimeter of the main outdoor square, serving as visual reference at the different levels of approximation, the college strengthens security and compliance program as an important contribution for scouting activities.
