Text description provided by architect.
In order to provide a good view over the lake and to respond to existing planning rights, the building is located on the southern shore.
The outlook for the DLRG guard on duty is located on the upper floor where a generously wide bay window allows to overlook the lake in its entirety and co-ordinate the emergency services quickly.
The lifeboat station is constructed in timber frame construction method. It is orientated to face the lake exclusively.
The glass façade at ground floor, behind which the medical room and staff room are located, can be closed by wooden foldable sliding doors.
It also provides visual protection and an intimate atmosphere for the people in care.
