The position on the building site of this single-floor specialty retail park has been arranged, that the entrance and the shop windows are turned to the towncenter.

The shops and bars lines up by an overlaid promenade, L-shaped to the central customer parking area and are directly accessible from the outside.

A free-standing pavilion is located near the street which it´s in connection by a continuous canopy to the rest of the retail market and generated therefore a wide gate.

The allotments for the costumer traffic are accessible by two roads along the street in the north. Several footpaths, ramps and steps guide cyclists and pedestrians to the spacious promenade of the Löwenpark Melk.

The promenade has received an attractive urban ambience with furniture, outdoor bars and planting. The front side of the Löwenpark, with the customer entrances has a universal, all over glazing facade.

Light, shaped bends creates a rhythm to head the costumer casually along the shops. The large, plane, underside, overhanging canopy with the integrated lights is directly connected with the glass facade.

Several staged, curved ribbons mark the end of the canopy. The combination with the golden colour gives a reference to the emblem of the city Melk, as well as with the dominant visible monastery. The curved shapes generate homogeneity from all ride sides with sustained transitions.
